Our Mission

To recognize Southern Arizona's First Responders and thank them. To raise awareness and money for the Trauma Center at Banner Health University Medical Center - the only level 1 trauma center in Southern Arizona.

Heroes Day History

In 2008, a special day was created to honor fallen Tucson Police Officer Erik Hite and to thank our brave law enforcement members who serve our state and put their lives at risk everyday. Heroes Day has been expanded to recognize and thank all first responders in Southern Arizona. Groups recognized include Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, EMTs, Border Patrol, US Military, US Forest Service, etc. Heroes Day nominees have gone above and beyond on in a specific event.
