Heroes Day, 2018


Heroes Day is now accepting 2018 nominations

On Thursday, November, 10th, 2018 we will honor Southern Arizona first responders who have gone beyond the call of duty with the 10th Annual Heroes Day Award and Celebrations.


The Heroes Day committee is now soliciting nominations from over 30 departments of first responders.

Heroes Day includes special events including our morning awards presentation at La Encantada as well as free lunch to all uniformed first responders sheduled for the five Jack Furrier Tire & Auto Care Heroes Day locations below:

 

Grant Road at Oracle (370 W. Grant Road)
Between Craycroft & Wilmot (5852 E. Speedway Boulevard)
Ina Road, 1 block west of Old Father (4291 W. Ina Road)
Valencia at South 6th Avenue (51 E. Valencia Road)
Oracle between Magee & Ina (7846 N. Oracle Road)

 

We encourage Tucson and surrounding community members to stop by any of these locations on Thursday, November, 10th to say thank you in person to the our first responders in attendance and participate in signing our thank you banners. Any donations collected will benefit Banner University Medical Center- Trauma Program, the only level 1 Trauma Center in Southern Arizona.

Heroes Day is a volunteer effort supported by local businesses providing their talents and time to make the day special for our first responders. We ask that you remember all of our sponsors and support their efforts as they have supported Heroes Day. A special thanks goes to Jack Furrier Tire & Auto care who is presenting Heroes Day and partnering with Banner University Medical Center.
